Crew formation Holland8 changed

On Sunday a different crew formation of the Dutch mens eight will compete. Yesterday, headcoach Mark Emke announced that Meindert Klem and Olivier Siegelaar, who competed in the double at the first two World Cups this year, will make a transfer into the eight, after their Olympic campaign in the double had ended. They will take the seats of Reinder Lubbers and Simon Glazenborg. Cox Hergen Meijer will also be replaced. His seat is taken by Peter Wiersum, cox of last years world champion lightweight mens eight.

A week and a half from now the Hollandd8 will compete at the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Poznan (Poland) for the last starting tickets for Beijing. This weekend is a good opportunity to test the new formation. The final of the mens eight is on Sunday at 5.10 pm.
