Holland-Beker Wedstrijd-Vereeniging

One of the oldest rowing clubs of The Netherlands still aims to promote and stimulate (Dutch) single sculling by organise a yearly rowing regatta or participate in the organising committee of a rowing regatta. Important element of this regatta must be the men single sculling event. As from 1886 each winner is offered a silk sash in the national tricolour, a silver buckle (the Holland Beker) and a gold medal.
